Use Thursday's wisely. If you've missed a WOD, make it up on Thursday. If you have any friends, call 'em and have a mini group WOD. Set a single lift PR (I guarantee you could bench with Brent) Do some skill work Practice the Jerk and or Snatch
I am going to attempt to do Tuesday's workouts on Thursdays at home. But I may have a few questions as I try to decode this new lingo I am learning. So what does 5x5 mean on Thrusters for tuesday's workout? And by Lunge, is that one forward or backward lunge each leg? Thanks in advance! Annette
5x5 means 5 sets of 5....usually increasing your weight each set, so there will be some rest time in between sets and your last set should be a bit of a struggle.
Lunges are always walking lunges unless otherwise stated....preferably back knee touching ground each rep. So for this WOD you do 1 thruster, 1 kb swing, 1 lunge each leg, 2 thrusters, 2 kb swings, 2 lunges each leg....3, 4 and so on until you reach 15 min.
How about REST the very sore butt and legs and now hands, ha! JK...who needs rest?!?!
